Laboratory Accreditation
Total Air Care Laboratory is accredited by International Accreditation New Zealand for testing and validation of all laminar flow workstations and safety cabinets - as well as fume cupboards and cleanrooms.
Laboratory accreditation provides a formal recognition that a laboratory has been assessed by an independent authority and assessed as being capable of meeting certain standards of quality, performance, technical expertise and competence.
International Accreditation New Zealand is a national authority specifically established to provide New Zealand business with an expert, independent, authoritative laboratory accreditation service.
The requirements for laboratory accreditation by International Accreditation New Zealand include compliance with ISO Guide 25 - General Requirements for the Competence of Calibration and Testing Laboratories and the New Zealand Code of Laboratory Management Practice. Additionally, more specific technical requirements relating to the particular field of testing and current accepted practice for that particular scientific discipline or technology are applied.
Total Air Care Laboratory was first accredited in 1994. Continuing accreditation means that the laboratory is regularly re-assessed to ensure that facilities, operations and procedures of the laboratory conform to the documented technical and quality systems, and that test methodology and practices remain current. |
