Services

Total Air Care is accredited by International Accreditation New Zealand in the field of Applied Physics Testing. In particular the accreditation covers testing of cleanrooms, laminar flow, safety cabinets and fume cupboards to Australian Standard test methods.

Total Air Care is registered as an IQP (Independent Qualified Person) with territorial Authorities throughout New Zealand for performing inspections on fume cupboard and other installed air extraction systems.

Testing and Validation Services

  • Laminar Flow Workstations and Safety Cabinets
    Should be validated at least annually

  • Cleanrooms
    Annual validation is generally required and abbreviated
    quarterly checks are recommended in production facilities

  • Operating Theatres
    Annual validation is generally required and abbreviated
    quarterly or 6-monthly checks are available

  • Fume Cupboards
    Annual IQP inspections as well as 6-monthly performance testing

  • Indoor Air Quality Audits
    Both routine audits and one-off inspections are available

  • Glutaraldehyde Exposure Surveys
    We offer Health & Safety audits of high level disinfection processes and other processes using glutaraldehyde

  • Radiography Air Systems Surveys
    Our Health & Safety audits include measurement of toxic
    vapours as well as a comparison of the installation with
    OSH Guidelines

  • Microbial Testing
    A defined volume of air is drawn over an agar plate which is subsequently analysed by an accredited microbiology laboratory
